Wake. A 3-day wake is set up at the venue of your choice, with tentage, seating and decor arranged in full.

Funeral service. Your pastor leads worship, sermon and preaching, while we handle hymn sheets. A dedicated personnel will usually assist you and your family on the final night during the night service by assisting the pastor.

Cortege. A Mercedes limousine hearse leads the cortege from the wake venue to the cemetery or crematorium.

Committal. A final committal service is held at the graveside or crematorium, led by the pastor, before the family returns to the wake venue.

Every case is different, but here's an honest picture of timing, based on how our arrangements usually run:
Response time
If traffic is clear, we can usually arrive at the place of passing within about an hour to assist your family. During peak-hour traffic this may take a little longer — please bear with us, as our team is doing everything possible to reach you quickly.
Embalming
After body collection, embalming typically takes a minimum of three hours, depending on the size of the body and how it responds to the process, before the body is sent back to the wake venue — provided the tentage has already been set up.
Tentage setup
Tentage setup can sometimes take longer than expected, particularly during busy periods when many families are holding wakes at the same time. It is not advisable to set up the tentage beyond 10pm and before 6am as the neighbours might not like it.

Our standard packages are built around a 3-day wake, with the funeral service and committal on the final day — though the schedule can be adjusted to suit your family and church. You can also add the number of days if you wish to do so.
